Villa Kanoni is a pretty semi-detached property with a location that’s a cut above the rest. It’s set in an elevated position, so you can look forward to sweeping views of the sea below.

To make the most of the views, head for the pool area – you’ll need to make your way down a level from the villa to find it. The pool itself takes centre-stage, and it’s flanked by loungers and sand-coloured rocks, so the set-up is really secluded. Plus, if you fancy swapping pool for beach it couldn’t be easier – if you walk you’ll get there in less than ten minutes.

Step inside and you’re greeted by a really serene space. The living-come-dining room, for example, is a combination of white and cobbled stone walls, with black wrought-iron light fittings providing the finishing touches to the decor. You’ll find a couple of sofas and a dining table in here, as well as nice-to-haves like a TV, DVD and CD player. The kitchen, meanwhile, comes with all the usual mod cons, like a microwave and dishwasher.

In terms of the bedrooms, there are four. There’s a double on the ground floor with an en suite shower room and, on the first floor, there’s a master double and a twin. Top billing goes to these two – both have patio doors that open out on to a terrace, showcasing more of the great sea views. Rounding things off, there’s a twin on the top floor.
