This place started out life as a farmhouse. These days, it’s an attractive four-bedroom villa that’s perfect for a laid-back break. It’s about a kilometre outside of the town centre, which means you get the best of both worlds. Restaurants and bars are a twenty minute walk away, yet the surroundings stay pretty quiet.

The villa itself is a simple, traditional affair. Cue wooden ceiling beams and rustic wooden shutters on the windows. The kitchen is a good size, and comes with all the basics like an oven, a fridge and a microwave. Plus there’s a satellite TV in the lounge.

As for the bedrooms, there are two twins and two doubles. Each one features whitewashed walls and fuss-free wooden furniture, and the two doubles come with en suite bathrooms.

Step outside, meanwhile, and you’ll find a good-sized swimming pool that looks out over the surrounding countryside.
