This place has bagged a plum position on Little Beach, so it comes with golden sands and turquoise seas on the doorstep. What’s more, the shops and bars of Sosua are a couple of minutes’ walk away.

The hotel itself is pretty special, too. It’s a pastel-hued number that peers out from behind palms and banana trees. The real talking point, though, is the pool complex. There are two pools in total, both wrapped in terraces dotted with loungers and parasols. Three whirlpool baths complete the scene.

Inside, meanwhile, everything has been given a modern makeover. Bedrooms are decorated in wall-to-wall white, with splashes of lime green in the soft-furnishings. They’re nice and spacious, too, and all of them come with a balcony or terrace, plus modern must-haves like flatscreen TVs.

On the dining front, there are three restaurants to choose from. Try Luigi’s for tasty Italian dishes or head to Seascape for gourmet à la carte seafood. And for cocktails, check out the Calypso Disco.

Last but not least, this place offers up a whole range of activities. So you can hire a boogie board and head for the waves, or sign up for an introductory scuba diving lesson. What's more, Sosua is the only place in the region where you can try your hand at snorkelling, thanks to the coral reefs that lie offshore.
