Despite its peaceful setting, it’s not too cut off – the shops and tavernas in the town centre are less than a 5-minute drive away, and you can walk to the beach in around 15 minutes.

The villa’s interiors are really stylish. Take the living room, for example, where cream walls and soft furnishings are teamed with smart dark-wood furniture. Homey touches come in the form of flower vases and floral paintings, and the room opens out on to a furnished outdoor terrace that serves up views of the surrounding countryside.
