Surrounded by lush green vegetation with a secluded atmosphere that is still only 800 metres from the nearest beach, the Hotel La Solara near Sorrento is a rather special holiday destination. The hotel sits half way up a steep incline, giving it fantastic views out over the surrounding countryside and has lovely grounds, which are perfect for exploring of an afternoon. The rooms at the hotel are comfortable and decorated in monochrome colours with wood furnishings. Each room has air conditioning, flat screen satellite TV, minibar and Wi-Fi, and many also have a balcony with wonderful views.

The Hotel La Solara has buffet dining, as well as an à la carte menu for guests to select from, and there is a huge range of meal choices, including vegetarian celiac-friendly dishes. The hotel has a large pool with spacious sun terrace and a separate pool for kids. Activities include use of the fitness centre, Italian lessons and daily games sessions in the lemon grove garden behind the swimming pool. In the evenings guests can enjoy a drink in the hotel bar, or head into Sorrento which is only 3km away.
