These Gold Award-winning apartments do simple with style. They’re comfy and unfussy, which means they’re ideal for families and couples looking for a good-value place to stay. But they’ve got that little something extra that sets them apart.

First up, they’re family-run, so the vibe is really friendly. The location is great, too. Just outside Tingaki, they look out over open fields, olive trees and mountains in the distance. Factor in gardens, which are filled with lime, lemon and pomegranate trees, and it’s every inch the relaxing setting.

The property itself teams peachy-pink exterior with a neat lobby. From there, all the public areas are bright and orderly, with little touches like potted plants giving them a cared-for feel. The rooms are fairly basic, but they’re all light, spacious and comfy. They’re well-equipped, too, with sitting areas, kitchenettes, balconies and satellite TVs.

Outside, the wavy-shaped swimming pool has a circular section for the little ones and is framed by a terrace and pretty flowers. Blue sunloungers and a snack bar complete the picture. The owners also host regular barbecue and Greek nights, where everyone gets together round the pool.

Lastly, if you fancy time by the sea, the sandy beach at Tingaki is 20 minutes’ walk away. You’ll also find a good choice of shops, tavernas and restaurants closer by, in the village itself.
