Waterworld Lloret always goes one better. It doesn’t just lay claim to any old rafting river, oh no. It’s got Europe’s biggest, and it’ll spin you through one 360° turn after another. And rather than your average water-coaster, it’s home to X-Treme Mountain – a 260-metre-long big dipper with more ups and downs than a trampoline. Impressed? There’s more – take your pick from Kamikaze slides that plunge from 77 metres up, a supersized wave pool, and a great line-up of mini-slides designed to go a bit easier on little tummies. The best bit of all, though, is the fact you get unlimited access when you stay at the Rosamar Garden Resort. There’s a free shuttle bus to get you there, so you can tick off hotel highlights like 4 pools – 1 of which is in the fitness centre and another is just for kids – and bedrooms that were given the full Changing Rooms treatment in 2012. Oh, and did we mention it’s just minutes from the beach?
