If your holidays tend to revolve around the beach, this place is in the perfect spot. It looks out over Turkey’s Aegean coast, which means you’re just footsteps from a long stretch of sand. The centre of Bodrum is about 40 minutes away on foot, and there are plenty of buses if you don’t fancy the walk.

The hotel itself has been designed to make the most of the views – and nowhere showcases them better than the swimming pool. Set on a raised platform, it’s just metres from the beach. It’s surrounded by loungers and thatched umbrellas, and comes with a pool bar that serves a good range of drinks and snacks during the day.

For more in the way of food and drink, you’ve got plenty of options. Buffets are laid on at two locations in the hotel, which means you can eat inside, or on an al fresco terrace overlooking the sea. Snacks are available by the pool, plus there's two à la carte restaurants as well. One specialises in fish and seafood, while the other serves up Italian favourites.

Finally, the bedrooms here are smartly dressed in shades of coffee and cream. Spot-lit mirrors and modern furnishings add a sophisticated touch, while large balcony doors frame the views. In terms of mod-cons, you’ve got air-conditioning and satellite TVs.
