On the outskirts of Kardamena the Plousia Apartments offer comfortable, value-for-money accommodation for a sun-soaked holiday on the Greek island of Kos. In fact, just a five minute walk will bring you to the centre of this busy resort, popular for its long sandy beaches, excellent water sports facilities and good clubbing. There’s also plenty in the way of sight-seeing around here, with temple ruins, a Roman villa and a crusaders’ castle all in the vicinity.

The Plousia Apartments is a small complex of 16 units, but its guests have the use of a delightful pool nearby, with separate kids’ area – just the place to can relax on a sun bed and enjoy a drink from the pool bar. Furthermore, as the apartments are self catering, there’s no restaurant on site, though there are plenty to choose from within a few minutes walk. There is choice of either studios or one bedroom apartments, all of which have kitchenettes and private balconies. Inside, they are bright and clean, with simple furnishings.
