You’ve got 2 sandy beaches to pick from at this hotel. The first is a secluded spot, while the second is livelier, with loungers, parasols and a watersports list that includes sailing and kayaking. There’s a beach bar, too, which dishes up light bites like sandwiches and wood-fired pizzas. Meals are usually served in the Mermaid restaurant – expect a mix of buffet and à la carte – and there’s a romantic clifftop venue for Caribbean-style fine dining. There are 2 pools, the gardens are dotted with hammocks tied up between palms. Oistins and St Lawrence Gap are about 20 minutes’ walk – or 5 minutes’ drive – away.
