UNA Hotel Versilia details
A delightful hotel with an exclusive edge, the UNA Hotel Versilia was made for chic retreats a deux.
The moment you see this place you know you’re in for something special. Exuding contemporary style, the hotel is a design piece in itself, largely made up of gleaming glass panels and clean white lines. And its setting is just as impressive, with just a short stroll to Lido di Camaiore itself.
When only hiding away will do, though, take cover in the Una’s grounds. From long lawns to courtyards canopied by trees, they’re incredibly pretty. And there are plenty of nooks dotted about where you can chill out in peace. The swimming pool is the ultimate relaxation spot though. Lake-sized, it takes pride of place in the gardens and is bordered by chic sun loungers and parasols.
Alternatively, you can get a relaxation fix at the wellness centre. A Zen-like oasis with a sauna. There’s also a serene heated indoor pool with massage jets. And the more active crowd can get their kicks in the state-of-the-art fitness room or on one of the tennis courts.
Inside, the UNA Hotel Versilia is a breath of fresh air. Modern and minimalist, crisp white walls and trendy furnishing set the scene. And polished wood floors and plush rattan chairs add a cool, tropical feel. It’s all very Miami Beach. The bedrooms are no exception with mood lighting, flatscreen TVs and Perspex dressing tables. They even come with a pillow menu. And the hotel also has a Grill Bar specialising in fish, plus an international buffet restaurant. The piece de resistance though has to be the romantic Roof Garden, which opens up from the 1st of June – perfect for cocktails at sunset.
