Villa Limonia is a picturesque, farmhouse-looking property, tucked among trees and shrubs in the Korakiana countryside. Stone steps lead to its entrance, where you’ll find a cobble-stone porch edged by windows with green wooden shutters.

Inside, the kitchen, dining and lounge areas are housed in one big open room. Expect warm, terracotta-coloured walls, wood-beamed ceilings and ivory muslin curtains. The bedrooms also go down the traditional route, with wrought-iron bed frames and white linen soft furnishings.

Outside, you’ll find a rectangular swimming pool. It’s cocooned by stone walls, chunky terracotta plant pots and rose bushes, and there are sunbeds and parasols scattered around its edges. There’s also an al fresco dining table and a barbecue out here, which sit under the cover of a terracotta rooftop.

In terms of getting out and about, you’re within easy reach of the region’s highlights – it’s less than a 5-minute drive to the nearest beach and village centre from here.
