Diani Sea Lodge

Imagine yourself lying on a lounger by the twinkling freeform pool of the Diani Sea Lodge near Mombassa. Sheer bliss and total relaxation is what you’re buying into when you come on holiday here. The Diani Sea Lodge sits in an emerald green garden of rolling lawns and swaying palm. Metres away, the deep blue balm waters of the Indian Ocean are lapping the white sands of Diani Beach... But there’s plenty to do, from tennis, volleyball and football to scuba diving, mini golf or giant chess; not to mention a discount at the golf club nearby.

The Diani Sea Lodge is housed in a series of traditional-style buildings with red tile or thatched roofs, as well as some more modern-style cottage rooms. There is a wonderful main restaurant that features themed dining, as well as a bar, a snack bar and the pool bar. Once a week there is a barbecue evening and the entertainment includes live bands, traditional dancing and African evenings. The bedrooms are light and airy, furnished with four posters draped in mosquito netting and decorated in typical African style. Air conditioning and terraces are standard. It’s two kilometres from the hotel to the resort centre and 35 kilometres to Mombassa.
