It may look like a grand colonial country club but we can assure you that Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort in Walt Disney World Florida is much more fun. Of course, you might think you’d be far too busy in the countless theme parks to spend any time here, but once you arrive, you’ll probably think again. After all, the main Old Port Royale pool is simply huge, with manmade beaches, a Caribbean castle incorporating water chutes and waterfalls. Then there are six other pools at the centre of each of the six brightly coloured villages, four championship golf courses, a lake for boating, a children’s water play area and two playgrounds, shops, restaurants, bars, a food court and big brightly decorated bedrooms with cable TV and air conditioning.
