Intimate and friendly, the Villa Anna Studios offer an authentic Greek base away from the centre of town.

The Villa Anna is a real home-from-home. For starters, it only has 14 studios, so the vibe is friendly and intimate. The owners, Anna and Dimitri and their son Yannis, are really welcoming, too – they’ll be there to greet you with a drink when you arrive. Plus, they stage a weekly barbecue every Friday night, which is a great chance to meet other guests.

In terms of location, this place is in a really peaceful spot. It’s surrounded by countryside, and set away from the main road into Pythagorion. When it comes to getting out and about, it’s a 20-minute walk into town and ten minutes to Potokaki beach, where the sands and pebbles are lined with tavernas.

Back at base, there’s a newly renovated good-sized pool framed by pretty grounds and a bar with a snack and cocktail menu. And as for the studios, they come with the added bonus of balconies or terraces overlooking the pool or the gardens.

Studios have twin bedrooms, kitchenette with 2 electric rings and fridge, air-conditioning/heating, at a charge, satellite TV, telephone, radio, shower and WC and balcony or terrace. Maid service with linen change twice a week and towels changed 3 times a week.
