The Sandals Royal Hicacos Resort and Spa in Varadero, Cuba, is a fabulous oasis of a holiday spot right on the edge of the Caribbean Sea. The complex has a full range of facilities, including tennis, water sports and scuba diving, and there are massages available, as well as treatments in the on site spa centre and beauty parlour, for those who just want to chill out. The property has 3 swimming pools, with pretty sun terraces and plenty of sun loungers, and the beach is only a stone’s throw from the pool.

Rooms at the Sandals Royal Hicacos Resort and Spa are comfortable and stylishly decorated in a traditional local style. Each one has satellite TV, a mini fridge, hairdryer, air conditioning and a balcony or terrace. As well as the main buffet restaurant, there are 3 à la carte restaurants at the property, each serving up a delicious selection of cuisines. After dinner there is regular entertainment and guests have a choice of 5 bars in which to enjoy an evening drink.
