Positioned between the sparkling waters of the Red Sea and the stunning landscape of the Egyptian desert, the Royal Albatros Moderna in Sharm el Sheikh is an exotic holiday spot if ever there was one. The hotel complex has two swimming pools and is moments away from the beach of Nabq Bay, where you can snorkel and dive, or simply soak up the sun on a sun lounger.

The dusky colours of the outside of the hotel buildings perfectly reflect the evening sunsets, making this a prime spot for some summer romance. Inside, the rooms have clean, modern décor and each one has a TV, air conditioning and private balcony. As well as the Royal Albatros Moderna’s main restaurant, there are three à la carte options, two pool bars, a lobby bar and a beach bar. You will be spoiled for choice when it comes to the food as between them, the hotel’s bars and restaurants cover a huge range of cuisines, from sushi, to Thai food, to fish and pizza.

Facilities at the hotel are plentiful and kids are well catered for, with a kids club, playground and children’s pool with no less than 12 slides! For adults, there are several bars, a theatre and a disco on site.
